Historical use - The Aldeaduero Complex was created on the site of the old Iberdrola facility, which was built to undertake the construction of the Saucelle dam in the province of Salamanca, which borders Portugal.  These “villages” had all the facilities necessary for their community to live there (schools, houses, shops, hotels, churches, etc.). 

Modern use - The attractions of this impressive Complex are surrounded by an estate covering 190,000 m² of land of huge environmental interest.Its proximity to various river ports (such as La Fregeneda in Spain or Barca D’alva in Portugal) offers the ability to take a cruise along the Duero, passing through the spectacular Arribes where you will be able to admire remarkable species such as black storks, griffon vultures and golden or Bonelli´s eagles in the heart of the Arribes del Duero Nature Park.On the site of this facility, a Rural Leisure Resort had been designed, which offered:
